It does transfer a bit and if you eat it wears off but I think this a lovely, nude shade worth your money. It gives me decent wear time, doesn't make my lips really dry and doesn't bleed.

Lately, I have been into more pink, rose and corally pink shades but Mac Twig is still a good old fave.

I used to say that I can have all my other lippies in minis but Mac Twigg is the one that I need in a full size because I reached for it a lot.

Because of this it has been my fave to-go lipstick for years. It's not a shade I can wear with no makeup and pass it off as my natural lip color but when I have a full to most of my face done makeup it is a good nude that will go with any look. But I did remember trying on lipsticks when and this shade stood out even though I didn't remember the name. I remember a good friend offered to buy me my first Mac lipstick and to choose one and at the time I didn't have a good understanding of nudes and what looked best so I went for a shade that I later realized wasn't the most flattering for my tanned skin.

It actually has a similar texture to the Satin finish formula with just a tad less shine. When it comes to pink options, he loves this one, a soft, baby pink with a slightly pearlized finish.

They have medium, buildable coverage and a semi-lustrous finish that ranges from pearlized to metallic, says Cantor. Although matte, it’s not dry and applies just as well as the other formulas. If you prefer your lipstick to have a touch of sheen, consider the brand’s Frost lipsticks. This shade is probably the closest to my natural lip colour out of all the shades which surprises me. Velvet Teddy – Matte A warm, muted, mid-tone peachy brown with a matte finish. As this is rather on the light side, I like to wear it with a darker lip liner especially Mac’s lip liner in Stripdown.

It feels very creamy and nourishing on the lips. But the catch is that I cannot specify the full path of the template files, it should be loaded by the relative path. Despite how light it is, it still packs a punch in the pigment department and glides on effortlessly. I am trying to include some twig files from another twig file. The shade is pigmented and a full even coverage is achieved with one layer.īlankety – Amplified A very light, beigy, pink nude with a sheeny finish. It’s comfortable to wear with slightly less slip than the Amplified finishes. Twig- Satin Very similar to Fast Play although it has less of a sheen due to it’s Satin finish and pulls more of a plummy pink whereas Fast Play pulls more brown by comparison. TWIG is a warm rosy pink with subtle brown undertones which I feel is so. Again, the Amplified finish is super comfortable to wear, has incredible colour payoff and full opacity is achieved with a single layer. The color suits fair to fair-medium skin tone more and might wash out dusky beauties. It’s super comfortable to wear, packed with pigment and full opacity is easily achieved with one layer.įast Play – Amplified A neutral, mid tone mauvy pink with a satin finish (slightly more deeper than Cosmo). I’ve included a brief description of each of the shades here but for more information, make sure you check out the video.Ī warm, mid-tone peachy pink with a sheeny finish. It set well and did not move during the day, and it also did no. It applies opaque in a single coat and felt light weight on my lips.

Every time I pass a MAC counter, I just can’t pass by without going into a lipstick swatching frenzy whilst making a metal list of what shades I need to add to my collection next (Viva Glam II and Half n Half, I have my eyes on you). Twig is a warm, medium mauve with a satin finish and vanilla scent. I don’t know what it is about MAC lipsticks that cause me to go weak at the knees.
